Jotun paints was established in 1920 by Odd GleTowellditsch Sr. to supply the whaling industry with paints. A few years later he decided to establish his own manufacturing plant. Since then, many successful brands were developed such as Fenom and Drygolin. Today, Jotun is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of paints, coating, and powder coatings, employing more than 9500 employees. The company has a presence in more than 100 countries around the world including 36 production facilities in 22 countries. The strategic relationship between TIG and Jotun goes back to more than 25 years as a key distributor in the GCC.
